A sample from a current work in progress, the graphic novel Disputed antiquities, an improvised tale about forgery, theurgy and alternative realities. A lot of inkwashes for lighting and atmospheric scenery are used throughout the story, since I was inspired by the poetic realism of certain 1940´s movies and wanted to achieve similar effects as in those.

This scene, page 12, follows after Holly, the bored misfit daughter of shady antiquity dealers, was unwittingly made an accomplice to a murder the previous night. In the morning the murder victim´s house pet takes refuge in a crashed aeroplane in her parent´s baroque garden.
